As small business owners, our advertising budget is small also. Each year we weigh what will us the most benefit for our dollar. We have tried many different avenues for our advertising dollar. Most have produced much less in income than they cost. When we bought a new catering van this summer, we knew we needed to put signage on it and the man who had done the basic signage on our previous vehicle had gone out of business. The car dealer where we purchased our van referred us to Advertising Vehicles. It was more expensive than what we usually allot for advertising for a year, but we knew the signage offered by Advertising Vehicles would last more than a year and would travel all over town. We have been very pleased, not only with the look of our new "rolling billboard", but we have had many positive comments from customers. As the marketing manager for the Miller Brewing Company, my biggest opportunity is to break through everyday advertising clutter to get a focused message to our consumers. We have tried many avenues to do this out door, print, radio and television, however with today’s technology (i.e., satellite radio, TiVo etc) which consumer actually gets brand messaging through those mediums? That’s when we decided to activate the media that we have on a national level with wrapping a vehicle. By using a car, which is on the road, we would impact many cross sections of town to reach all types of consumers. They wouldn’t be able to turn a page, or flip to another station, on the road they would have to look straight forward and then would read our brand message. Thank you for your recent project with Colonial, you really hit a home run for us in the design and placement of graphics on our community services delivery truck. Your design team came up with the look we didn’t know we wanted on the very first try- as we are very particular about our graphic representation this really speaks wonders for Blake's ability to assess and fulfill Colonial's needs. I appreciate the time you took developing an understanding of our programs and services in order to accurately determine the best representation for our organization. This great look was created with exceptional speed- Blake was very focused and worked hard to collect the photos we needed and incorporate them expertly into the design for the truck. He was able to keep us on task and turn around our graphics in record time. Even more important than the efficiency of the design process was their ability to implement the design overnight to ensure our vehicle didn't miss a day of service. This vehicle delivers hot meals three times a day, every day, to an area hospice facility so it was incredibly important that is was not out of service. For Blake and his team to be accommodating of our needs and install our graphics so quickly was a true accomplishment for which we are very grateful.
